I designed LatteArtist as an iOS app specifically for home baristas and coffee enthusiasts like myself who want to track their latte art progress and consistently improve their skills. With LatteArtist, I aim to help you:

• Log every pour: Easily capture photos and details of your latte art, including pattern type (like hearts or tulips), milk used (even oat milk and other alt milks), cup size, and notes on your technique.
• Understand what works: By logging key details about each pour, such as the milk you used, the pattern you attempted, and any notes on your technique, you can start to see what impacts your results and learn how to troubleshoot common issues like "jaggy hearts."
• Visualize your journey: See your progression over time with a visual timeline and rate your pours to objectively assess your improvement.
• Stay motivated: Track your streaks and celebrate your successes as you learn to replicate what works and understand your "random good/bad days."

I know that inputting data can be a hassle, so I've designed LatteArtist for speed and minimal friction. You can quickly log key parameters for each pour, including photo, pattern type, milk details, cup information, and your personal rating. My goal is to make it an intuitive part of your espresso and latte art workflow, not a burden, so you can focus on improving your frothing and pouring.

I've heard the interest from Android users! Currently, my primary focus is on perfecting the latte art tracking experience for iOS. An Android version is something I'll definitely consider in the future based on continued demand and as the app matures.

Absolutely! One of my core goals with LatteArtist is to help you move beyond "random good/bad days" with your pours. By consistently logging details like your milk type (including oat milk or other alternatives), and even cup shape and volume, you can start to identify patterns. Reviewing your timeline and ratings alongside these variables can provide insights into what leads to successful latte art and what might be causing inconsistencies.
